University of Bristol Student Union are hosting a discussion tonight, 7.30pm at Hamilton House, about activism in Bristol. People from a variety of campaigns (and anyone who attends and wants to chip in) will be talking about why this city is such a hotbed of political activity, what things have been working well, and what hasn’t been working well. We hope this will lead to some new ideas, or at least some refined ideas, for the next few months.
Invited speakers include, Bristol Radical Film Festival, Green Party, No to Tesco, Bristol Feminist Network, and in a last minute addition Bristol Anarchist Federation.
This is only the first in a series of events, so there’ll be other chances to get involved.
